Manas is my 32nd Grandfather by genealogy. Khan/King Shyrdakbek is my 9th Grandfather. Manas was Timur's son-in-law and the Emir and general of Tokhtamysh Khan. In honor of the outstanding heroic deeds of the Emir Manas, Tokhtamysh Khan built the city of Manas

Dates of the birth: Timur/Tamerlan - 1336

                             Tokhtamysh - 1342

                             Manas  - 1346

The German researchers were on the right track in their exploration of the epic work. The name Manas comes from the name of the ancestor of the Germanic tribes IngaevonesHerminones and Istvaeones, Mannus.

In 1944, the epic “Manas” was published in large quantities in German.

According to Majmu at-Tavarikh, Manas was the son of Yakubbek and a vassal of Tokhtamysh. His squad consisted of the Karkara Kipchak. Information of Majmu at-Tavarih shows that Tokhtamysh at the end of his reign relied not only on the Golden Horde troops and emirs but also on the support of some Moghulistan emirs, including Manas.
